This game is set in the world of Krynn, in a modified Dragonlance setting. This story takes place just before the War of the Lance, about 300 years after the Cataclysm. After that fateful event, the gods abandoned the world, leaving Krynn to it’s own workings. Prayers go unanswered, and the arcane force has become difficult to control without the blessings of the gods of magic. The races of Krynn are even more divided now than ever before. The Silvanesti, though always reserved, have closed themselves off from the rest of the world, including, for the most part, their cousins, the Qualinesti. The mountain dwarves have similarly shut the towering gates of their kingdom, Thorbardin, though their cousins, the hill dwarves, still venture outside their walls occasionally. The kender continue to wander as they always have, much to the rest of the world’s chagrin. An unsteady peace has settled around Krynn, but it wouldn’t take much to shatter it, and suspicions still run high.
